Establishing itself in a new area, Avid was very keen to ensure the finished wall would have a wide range of climbing options for new and improving climbers as well as interesting features for the more experienced. Avid also wanted to ensure the wall felt open, welcoming and inviting for those with limited but growing confidence.

It was clear from the start that Michelle at Tectonica really understood our requirements. This wasn’t just another wall designer, she refined and listened carefully and came up with innovative solutions and ideas in order to make the most of the space available while also embracing the aesthetic element. The Top out area and the glass walkway through to the calming Bird Boulder remain a key element of the Avid wall design.
